Bryce Glover – Divisional Director
Bryce has a wealth of Corporate and Business Banking experience, with more than 30 years in the finance industry. Bryce joined Nationwide in May 2009 as Divisional Director Nationwide Commercial.
Having started his career as a graduate with NatWest, he joined The Co-operative Bank in 1990 responsible for corporate and business banking, where he went on to become a main Board Director. In 2003 Bryce joined Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, as Director of Lending and then in 2005 became Director of Corporate Banking. In 2008 he was appointed Managing Director, Commercial Bank.
Bryce graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a degree in Law (LLB) and has also qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB).
Mark Bampton – Head of Property & Business Savings
Mark has over 20 years experience in the commercial property lending market and was a member of the original team when Nationwide Commercial was created in 1991. He was appointed Head of Property & Business Savings in 2012 responsible for commercial property lending and Nationwide Commercial’s corporate deposit taking activity from our presence across the UK.
During his Nationwide Commercial career Mark was a business originator himself in the early days moving on to lead a range of teams resulting in particular expertise in investment property purchase lending, debt restructuring/workouts, project finance (UK PFI/PPP), corporate acquisitions, management buyouts, leveraged finance and syndicated lending.
Prior to focusing on the business to business market Mark worked in the retail financial services sector initially with NatWest and then Nationwide as a Branch Manager of various offices in London and the Home Counties.
Mark Webster – Head of Housing and Project Finance
Mark joined Nationwide's retail network in 1980 and moved to the Commercial Division in 1990, specialising in housing association lending.
Since 2002 he has headed the Society's Housing Finance team, one of the UK's leading lenders to the affordable housing sector. He was a member of the Government's Affordable Rural Housing Commission and is on the Board of a regional housing association group.
